Searles® Lawn Grub Killer is a cost-effective broad-spectrum insecticide that is used to control lawn armyworm, African black beetle and a variety of other grubs & beetles in lawn and garden situations. Lawn grubs, grass caterpillars and the larvae of lawn beetles can cause devastating problems in the lawn by eating both the grass and grass roots. The damage can very quickly be noticed by patches of grass or lawn suddenly dying. The dead grass is easily lifted off the soil in clumps as the roots have been severed.
Lawn armyworm attacks leaves, stems and seedheads. Their name relates to the fact that they quite often occur in large proportions and quickly devour the grass before moving on to new grass areas.
Most lawn grub activity occurs in late spring through summer to autumn. Adult lawn beetles become active in spring, which is when they start mating and laying eggs.
HOW TO USE
For lawn beetles sprinkle 20g per 10 square metres evenly across area to be treated.
For lawn grubs sprinkle 40g per 10 square metres over area. Treat whenever pests are active. Water well soon after application.

Bin-Die

Active Constituent: 200g/L Bromoxynil, 200g/L MCPA
How To Use: Bin-Die can be applied by sprayer or watering can (preferably with a sprinkle bar). Dilute according to directions, and then apply over the area specified. A second application may be necessary about 4 weeks after the first if weeds are well established. Do not exceed the recommended application rate or damage to lawn may result. Bin-Die should be applied in late winter (July/August) for optimum control of bindii, prior to seed-head development. Consult the pack for full details
