15.48 H Block is a part of the 150mm Series. The hollow concrete masonry "H" block is used in reinforced walls to allow free flow of concrete core grout. Closed ended blocks may also be used for core filled walls but are harder to lay over high verticial reinforcement bars (H blocks can be woven through the bars without having to lift above the top of the bar) and can be harder to core fill properly as the closed ends prevent smooth flowing of core fill.
